The Pearl 

 

The Pearl within the ocean 

 

The ocean ripples 

The slight breeze does touch 

Today it’s fairly calm 

I see it Ripples this way

that way 

& 

much 

 

The colours are of aqua 

Of teal blue & deep 

Of sandy softness Kelp and foam 

The Ocean shallow & deep

 

For deeper down below 

The underwater life 

Of pearls and corals and colours mighty 

An underwater life 

 

We know so little about this world 

We glimpse it now and then 

We are told and shown what it’s like 

By explorers now & then 

 

The land she holds her emeralds 

She holds her diamonds too 

She holds within all glories 

Of what we value true 

 

They are not seen unless risen 

Risen to the light 

So what do you think is within? 

Is within your light? 

 

Have you looked for treasures ?

Of who & what you are 

Your beautiful love and ways of play 

The blessings of glory store ? 

 

The blessings unique to who you are 

Of how you’re meant to be 

Today a smile will light my path 

Knowing love is truely seen 

 

We have our ripples 

We have our ways 

But deeper down and true 

You carry treasures so divine 

Those in you Are true 

 

So may it be of gentle 

That treasures will be found 

Of natural ways Coming to light 

The ways in grace are found 

 

Will you share your treasures ?

Knowing they won’t be lost

They won’t be lost or damaged 

God protects with no cost 

 

Will you share your treasures 

and smile at others too 

Without taking what’s not yours 

But simply loving true ? 

 

For we are blessed with all we see 

We are given all to love 

We are but tiny in this world 

With an abundance of life to love

 

And what if we did do this 

To watch and simply love 

 

All has been given 

 

All of life to love
